However, Taxi Conil reserves the right to request total or partial advance payment for certain reservations where the nature of the service so requires, always informing the customer clearly and with sufficient notice.
Changes and cancellations. Changes and cancellations will only take effect once they have been confirmed by email. They must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
5. Route and fare calculation
Routes are calculated according to the kilometres indicated by Google Maps for the fastest route between the point of origin and the destination.
The fare for the service is the result of: journey kilometres multiplied by the per-kilometre cost set out in the current regulations of the Regional Government of Andalusia. Prices include VAT. Parking fees, car parks and tolls are not included.
If the customer wishes to follow an alternative route, this must be expressly indicated so that an adjusted quotation can be prepared.
6. Vehicles
The vehicles used have all the required authorisations and insurance. For operational reasons, Taxi Conil may assign a vehicle of an equivalent or higher category at no additional cost to the customer.
7. Pick-up of customers
Pick-up will take place at the point, date and time indicated in the reservation.
Impossible or impracticable pick-ups. Taxi Conil may cancel the service or modify the pick-up point when, for reasons beyond its control, the location indicated by the customer is impossible or impracticable to access or to stop the vehicle. In such case, Taxi Conil may propose an alternative pick-up location to the customer, as close and reasonable as possible. If the customer does not accept the alternative location or cannot reach it, Taxi Conil may consider the service cancelled.
8. Customer delays
Airports. Waiting time included: 1 hour from the indicated time.
Ports. Waiting time included: 30 minutes.
Hotels, private addresses and other points. Waiting time included: 10 minutes.
Cost of additional waiting time at the customer's request. If the customer requests waiting time beyond the above limits, the following rates will apply: Monday to Friday 07:00–22:00 → €17.57/hour. Monday to Friday 22:00–07:00, and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays → €20.71/hour. This amount must be paid before the service starts.
If the customer does not appear within the established time and does not contact us, the service may be cancelled without any right to a refund.
9. Delays attributable to Taxi Conil
The driver has a tolerance margin of 20 minutes' delay without liability. If this is exceeded, the customer must call the incident number indicated in the reservation confirmation. Failure to do so will cancel any subsequent right to claim.
10. Destination and stops
The service will be provided solely to the destination indicated in the reservation. Stops must be specified in advance. Stops in different towns may require a specific quotation.
Taxi Conil will not be responsible if the customer misses a means of transport (flight, train, etc.) when pick-up has taken place within the scheduled time and the delay is not attributable to the driver.
11. Parking
The driver will park at the closest possible point, taking into account local regulations, restrictions, roadworks or traffic closures. If direct access is not possible, the customer will be informed of the nearest viable drop-off point.
12. Luggage
Luggage must be placed in the boot. Taxi Conil is not responsible for any damage, breakage or loss of luggage.
13. Minors
Child restraint systems must be requested when making the reservation. If this has not been notified in advance and suitable systems are not available, the service may not be provided.
14. Reduced mobility
The customer must indicate in the reservation whether they are travelling with a wheelchair and whether it is foldable, so that a suitable vehicle can be arranged.
15. Pets
The presence of pets must be indicated when making the reservation. Animals must travel in an appropriate carrier. The customer assumes full responsibility for any damage caused by the animal.
16. Cancellations
By the customer. If the reservation is cancelled more than 12 hours in advance, no charge will be made. If it is cancelled with less than 12 hours' notice and the amount has already been paid, a cancellation fee of 50% may apply.
By Taxi Conil. If the customer does not appear and does not respond to calls, the service may be cancelled without a refund. No compensation will be paid for circumstances beyond the provider's control (accidents, traffic conditions, weather, etc.).
17. Right to refuse service
Taxi Conil reserves the right to refuse transport to persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behaviour may compromise the safety of the driver or other passengers. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the vehicle.
18. Customer responsibilities
By making a reservation, the customer declares that they:
• have read and accepted these terms and conditions;
• state that the information provided is truthful and accurate;
• undertake to report any changes to the reservation at least 24 hours in advance;
• are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their companions;
• hold the documentation required for the journey where applicable.
19. Complaints
Any incidents must be reported during the service by calling the number indicated in the reservation confirmation. Official complaint forms are available to passengers on request.
20. Amendment of conditions
Taxi Conil may change fares or conditions, particularly during periods of high demand, subject to prior notice to the customer.
21. Methods of payment
As a general rule, payment is made in cash or by card at the destination. Payment by bank transfer or other methods may be agreed in advance where indicated to the customer. Where total or partial advance payment is requested in order to confirm a reservation, the customer will be informed expressly, clearly and with sufficient notice.
22. Data protection
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
23. Disclosure of data
The data necessary to carry out the journey will be shared only with the driver assigned to the service.
24. Accuracy of information and minimum age
The customer guarantees the accuracy of the information provided and declares that they are of legal age.
25. Exclusion of liability
Taxi Conil will not be liable for errors attributable to the customer, for circumstances of force majeure or for information supplied by the customer that is not up to date.
26. Applicable law
These terms and conditions are governed by Spanish law. If the customer is a consumer, the courts corresponding to their place of residence will have jurisdiction. In all other cases, the courts of Chiclana de la Frontera will have jurisdiction.
27. Adjustment of route and fare in case of discrepancies
Taxi Conil reserves the right to review and, where appropriate, adjust the route and/or fare initially calculated when clear discrepancies are detected between the price shown on the website and the price that actually applies in accordance with official tariffs or the actual characteristics of the service (origin, destination, route, time or applicable supplements).
Any adjustment to the route or price will be communicated to the customer as soon as possible and, in all cases, before the start of the service, so that the customer can expressly accept the new conditions before the journey takes place.
